Zuhair Murad shows fall 2026 couture collection inspired by mystery

Zuhair Murad presented his fall 2026 couture collection with a theme of mystery and duality. The designer described a secret garden by night featuring dark hues and intricate craftsmanship. The show highlighted strong yet romantic designs on the runway.

Zuhair Murad offered backstage before his show that the theme is a little bit mystery. He said you do not have to show everything to everyone as we all need our secret garden.

The collection featured rich dark-tinged hues like deep green, burgundy, moonglow, and gradient black. Murad aimed to show the contrast of a woman’s character, describing one side as strong and independent and the other as romantic with a pure heart.

Outfits included an overgrown garden of roses on a velvet jacket bodice and night larks encrusted on a half-appliqué evening gown. Midnight butterflies appeared on a blush satin bustier gown while feathered capes covered tulle with sequins and beading.

Nearly every piece moved with ease. However a butterfly clamped over models’ lips drew criticism as a distracting gesture.
