A24's 'Peaked' adds five actors to supporting cast

A24's upcoming comedy 'Peaked' has cast Amy Sedaris, Owen Thiele, Jaya Harper, Emil Wakim, and Alex Consani in supporting roles. A24 is financing and producing 'Peaked,' a new comedy from director Molly Gordon and writer Allie Levitan, who also star in the film alongside Emma Mackey. The project has added five actors to its supporting cast: Amy Sedaris, Owen Thiele, Jaya Harper, Emil Wakim, and model Alex Consani. Previously announced cast members include Laura Dern, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, Gabby Windey, and Connor Storrie. Production involves A24 alongside David Hinojosa, Zach Nutman, and Gordon, with Levitan executive producing. Sedaris, a WGA Award winner and Emmy nominee, previously collaborated with Gordon on the Searchlight movie Theater Camp. She recently appeared in Bradley Cooper’s Is This Thing On? and will star next in Netflix’s Office Romance with Brett Goldstein and Jennifer Lopez. She is represented by UTA and Schreck Rose Dapello. Owen Thiele also featured in Theater Camp and has starred in the series Adults and Overcompensating, as well as the indie Idiotka. His representation includes UTA, Entertainment 360, and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller. Jaya Harper appears in the forthcoming Netflix comedy Roommates and is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment. Emil Wakim, a former Saturday Night Live cast member, is represented by UTA and Strig Artist Management. Alex Consani, who has appeared in music videos for Doja Cat and Charli xcs, made history as the world’s youngest transgender model at age 12 in 2015 and the first trans model to win the Fashion Award for Model of the Year in 2024. She gained a following through comedic TikTok videos during the pandemic and is repped by Underscore Talent.
