Abxylute launches 3D One handheld PC on Kickstarter

Abxylute has kicked off a Kickstarter campaign for the 3D One, a Surface Pro-like gaming tablet featuring a glasses-free 3D display. The device includes an 11-inch 120 Hz screen that renders games and media in true 3D using parallax barrier technology and AI eye-tracking. Backed by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, it starts at $1,449 during the crowdfunding period.

Overview

The Abxylute 3D One is a versatile handheld gaming PC designed as a 2-in-1 tablet, combining gaming capabilities with productivity features. It draws comparisons to the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 and OneXPlayer X1 Air in form factor, weighing just 0.87 kg (1.92 lbs) without controllers.

Display and 3D Technology

At the heart of the device is a 10.95-inch LCD touchscreen with a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 480 nits maximum brightness. It employs a parallax barrier method for glasses-free 3D viewing, enhanced by a 180 Hz AI eye-tracking camera that adjusts rendering in real time. When 3D mode is activated, content like games, movies, and images displays in stereoscopic 3D. Approximately 50 Steam titles will be natively optimized for 3D by the end of November, accessing game engine depth data directly, with more additions planned. All other media undergoes real-time 2D-to-3D conversion via the included MagicView software.

Hardware Specifications

Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V CPU (8 cores/8 threads, up to 4.8 GHz), the 3D One includes 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, running Windows 11 Home. It offers three power modes, with Performance mode sustaining 30W (PL1) and peaking at 50W (PL2). Magnetically attached full-sized controllers feature Hall Effect joysticks and touchpads, adding 0.24 kg (0.53 lbs). Optional accessories like a keyboard and stand enable laptop use.

The MSRP is $1,799, but Kickstarter backers can secure it from $1,449. Early Bird pricing is $1,499, with VIP members depositing $150 to receive a $200 credit—netting $50 off—and a free Abxylute C6 controller. Only 80 units ship in December post-campaign, with the rest arriving in February 2026.
