Actress Claudette Walker died on Friday at the age of 86. Her son announced the news to AFP. Known for her YouTube appearances and roles in film and television, she was nicknamed YouTube's grandma.
Claudette Walker, born in 1939, was a former dancer and choreographer. She had appeared in the series Maison de retraite broadcast on TF1 and in several films including Photo de famille in 2018.
She made several appearances in videos by YouTuber Cyprien, who has 14.5 million subscribers. The creator paid tribute to her on Instagram on Saturday, writing that she radiated on sets.
Walker had also taken part in content on the channels Golden Moustache and Lolywood. Her son confirmed the death to AFP.
