AIIMS New Delhi announces results for 460 faculty positions

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi declared results for 460 faculty posts on Sunday. The new appointments aim to strengthen patient care, teaching and research across more than 50 disciplines.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, announced the outcomes of its recruitment for 460 faculty positions ranging from Assistant Professors to Professors. The posts cover more than 50 disciplines at the main campus and the AIIMS–Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences campus at Maidan Garhi.

The institute received more than 3,200 applications, and the entire recruitment process took six months to complete. Officials highlighted steps taken to maintain transparency during selection.

“The marks were digitally locked using one-time passwords. The software generated the final merit list using these marks and pre-defined algorithms, with no human intervention except for resolving ties,” the institute said in a statement. This approach also allowed quick release of the final results.
