Cristiano Ronaldo came close to winning his first Saudi Pro League title with Al-Nassr but a late own goal forced a 1-1 draw against Al-Hilal. The result leaves Al-Nassr five points clear with two games remaining. Al-Hilal stay unbeaten in the league.
Al-Nassr took the lead in the 37th minute when Mohamed Simakan scored from a corner. The home side looked set to secure the points until goalkeeper Bento punched a long throw into his own net in the 98th minute for the equaliser. Ronaldo was substituted with seven minutes of normal time left and watched the dramatic finale from the sideline.
