Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has ordered the full documentation and development of state endowment properties to support the national economy.
The directives came during meetings at the Strategic Command in the New Administrative Capital. President Al-Sisi reviewed plans by the Egyptian Endowments Authority to create detailed topographic and digital maps of its real estate assets. He also called for cooperation with private developers to launch new investment projects.
Al-Sisi stressed the need to upgrade Historic Cairo. He instructed officials to inventory and renovate related buildings to high standards in order to turn the area into a major tourist and cultural site.
In a separate session on Saturday, the president directed the Armed Forces Engineering Authority to speed up ongoing infrastructure projects. These efforts aim to improve public services and meet Egypt’s sustainable development targets. The meetings included senior military and planning officials.
