Antioquia liquor factory enters Valle del Cauca market

The Fábrica de Licores y Alcoholes de Antioquia (FLA) announced its entry into Valle del Cauca department with its full product portfolio, after securing the required permits. The most popular aguardientes and rums will be available in all sales channels. This move comes shortly after the Industria Licorera de Caldas also entered the region.

The Fábrica de Licores y Alcoholes de Antioquia (FLA), the national liquor market leader with a 57% share, has expanded into Valle del Cauca. The announcement was made on October 31, 2025, shortly after the Industria Licorera de Caldas (ILC) reported its own entry into the department.

The entering products include Aguardiente Antioqueño and Ron Medellín in various references, available across all sales channels. "With this expansion, the FLA continues consolidating its strategic growth plan to bring the quality, tradition, and innovation of its brands to every corner of Colombia," the company stated in a release.

Esteban Ramos, FLA's manager, emphasized the significance: “The arrival in Valle del Cauca is a major achievement, as it represents the expansion of a brand born in Antioquia but now a heritage for all Colombians. We are pleased to share with Vallecaucanos the quality, tradition, and innovation that have made us the country's number one liquor producer and to continue boosting regional development.”

As a public company, FLA competes at high national and international standards and allocates 100% of its profits to health, education, sports, and culture programs, thereby supporting regional growth.
