Colombian progressive rock band Argovia has unveiled a new music video for their single 'Mountains', the second preview from their forthcoming 2026 album. The track explores themes of emotional recovery and features an 80s-inspired sound. It follows their earlier release 'Where Do We Go' from September.
Release Overview
Argovia, a progressive rock outfit from Colombia, dropped the official music video for 'Mountains' on November 23, 2025. This single acts as a teaser for their untitled album set to arrive in 2026, building anticipation after the band's previous track 'Where Do We Go', which came out in September.
Song Inspiration and Sound
Vocalist and guitarist Ani Guillén shared insights into the track's origins, stating, “Mountains was born from a very deep emotional place. It’s a song about hitting rock bottom, feeling lost in an existential void, and finding your way out through someone who truly connects with you, reminds you who you are, and helps you escape the emptiness.” She further noted, “we wanted the music to reflect that sense of ascent, of energy building up.”
Keyboardist Carlos Arminio discussed the production approach: “from the beginning, we knew we wanted an 80s-inspired sound, but approached from a modern perspective. We built the whole track from the keyboards – we didn’t even touch the guitar until the end.”
