Atlético Nacional and Junior de Barranquilla advanced to the Colombian league final after yesterday's semifinals. Both teams will contest the title and a spot in the 2027 Copa Libertadores.
Yesterday Atlético Nacional defeated Deportes Tolima 3-1 at the Atanasio Girardot. Goals came from Jorman Campuzano, Andrés Felipe Román and Edwin Cardona, with Adrián Parra replying for Tolima. The aggregate score was 4-1.
In Barranquilla Junior drew 0-0 with Independiente Santa Fe and won 5-4 on penalties. The Barranquilla side is the current champion and seeks a second consecutive title.
The final first leg is scheduled for June 2 in Barranquilla and the return leg for June 8 in Medellín. The opening match will not take place next weekend due to presidential elections. In addition to the title, the winner will receive about 3 million dollars for qualifying to the 2027 Copa Libertadores.
