WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray shared his thoughts on Chad Gable's recent appearance on WWE Raw. Ray praised parts of the segment but suggested adjustments to enhance the moment.
Gable has been apologizing to luchadors after being unmasked as the Original El Grande Americano. The apologies included encounters with Rey Fenix, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Intercontinental Champion Penta.
Ray highlighted the scene where Gable handed Mysterio's mask back to Penta and Dragon Lee. He noted that younger fans may not have seen a similar mask reveal in some time.
Ray said he would have preferred Gable refasten the mask himself or shake hands with Mysterio afterward. He also suggested Gable may next approach former Alpha Academy members Otis and Akira Tozawa.
