Around 20,000 Muslims attended the Haul Akbar Ulama dan Habaib Betawi at Monas Plaza, Jakarta, on Friday night, 19 June 2026.
The event was held as part of the 499th anniversary celebrations of Jakarta. Activities included collective dhikr and shalawat at the southern plaza of Monas.
Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar expressed appreciation for the idea of Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung. He described the major haul as a means to emulate the struggles of ulama and habaib.
Muhaimin assessed the gathering could serve as momentum to build a new civilization for Jakarta that advances globally while remaining rooted in tradition and culture.
