Cardinals lead best hauls in 2026 MLB Draft

The St. Louis Cardinals assembled the strongest collection of talent in the 2026 MLB Draft, selecting six players ranked in the Top 100 of MLB Pipeline's Draft Top 250.

The Cardinals used five picks in the first two rounds to land outfielder Trevor Condon in the first round and shortstop Rocco Maniscalco in the second. They also added right-hander Tegan Kuhns with a supplemental first-round pick.

The Chicago White Sox followed with the top overall selection of UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky and added multiple college right-handers. They secured 11 Top 250 prospects in total.

The Tampa Bay Rays took prep shortstop Grady Emerson with the No. 2 choice and added seven ranked pitchers. The Cleveland Guardians, Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Angels rounded out the top six teams based on their selections of high-upside arms and college performers.
