CBS launches NCIS podcast with hosts Brian Dietzen and Diona Reasonover

CBS has announced a new podcast titled NCIS: Partners & Probies, hosted by series stars Brian Dietzen and Diona Reasonover. The show will premiere on March 3, coinciding with the return of new NCIS episodes, and feature conversations with cast, crew, and experts. It aims to provide fans an inside look at the top-rated TV franchise.

The podcast, produced by the Paramount Multiplatform Production Group, will release new episodes weekly starting Tuesday, March 3. Listeners can access audio versions wherever podcasts are available, while full video episodes will appear on the NCIS YouTube channel.

This launch aligns with the NCIS franchise's ongoing success, which reaches over 300 million unique viewers worldwide and has topped Nielsen's streaming charts more weeks than any other title. It precedes the show's 500th episode on March 24.

The initial episodes include:
- March 3: Hosts Brian Dietzen and Diona Reasonover, both NCIS cast members.
- March 10: Wilmer Valderrama, an NCIS cast member.
- March 17: Mariel Molino from NCIS: Origins.
- March 24: Frank Cardea and Steve Binder, previous and current NCIS showrunners.

Future guests will feature Gary Cole and Sean Murray from NCIS, Daniela Ruah from NCIS: Los Angeles, Don McGill as NCIS co-creator, and others including directors Shea Buckner and Hanelle M. Culpepper, as well as executive producer Mark Horowitz.

Executive producers are Mike Benson and Issac Webster, with Maggie Renshaw and RaaShauna Payne as producers.

Brian Dietzen, who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer on NCIS and also writes for the series, began his career in theater in Boulder, Colorado. His credits include films like Congratulations and Lightning vs. Thunder, and TV shows such as Boston Public. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.

Diona Reasonover portrays Kasie Hines on NCIS. She holds degrees from Oberlin College and the California Institute of the Arts, with additional TV roles in 2 Broke Girls, Superstore, and Grace and Frankie. As a writer, her work includes I Love You, America and NCIS episodes. She co-hosted the podcast Periodic Talks and lives in Los Angeles with her wife.
