A cold front arrived in western Cuba on Tuesday afternoon, bringing abundant clouds and showers to Havana. Highs will range from 23 to 26°C (73 to 79°F), and lows from 18 to 21°C (64 to 70°F) over the coming days.
Adrian Fuentes reports in Havana Times that the cold front moved slowly over western Cuba, weakened in its southern portion but maintaining abundant cloud cover in Havana since the early morning of the previous day. Combined with favorable mid- and upper-level atmospheric conditions, it led to showers and rain in the capital. Over the next few days, mornings will start with little cloud cover, becoming partly cloudy by late morning and overcast in the afternoon with showers, rain, and thunderstorms, mainly inland. Winds will blow predominantly from the northeast at 15 to 30 km/h, with relative humidity from 55% to 90%. Sea surface temperature will be 26°C (79°F).
