Crystal Lake releases video for 'Neversleep' featuring Myke Terry

The Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake has unveiled an official music video for their new single 'Neversleep,' featuring guest vocals from Myke Terry of Volumes and Fire From The Gods. This track previews their upcoming album 'The Weight of Sound,' set for release on January 23, 2026, via Century Media Records.

Crystal Lake, a Japanese metalcore ensemble, is gearing up for the launch of their new album 'The Weight of Sound' on January 23, 2026, through Century Media Records. The band recently dropped the official video for 'Neversleep,' one of the album's singles that showcases a darker side of their sound, blending intense metalcore with deathcore elements. Myke Terry provides guest vocals, adding a layer of heaviness that meshes seamlessly with the contributions from Crystal Lake's John Robert Centorrino.

'Neversleep' builds on earlier singles like 'The Weight of Sound,' 'Crossing Nails,' and 'BlüdGod.' Guitarist and founder YD commented on the track: “This track is the one where I poured in the Hardcore/Metal/Punk elements that I’ve carried as my own background to the limit. It’s simple, but with an extra twist, and at times hybrid arrangements, updating it into the kind of extreme sound that represents the current CRYSTAL LAKE. Every part of the song is made for you to dance, so don’t think too much — just feel it and enjoy. Stay heavy.”

The album is available for pre-order in formats including a CD digipak, a grey LP for EU/UK markets, a limited white-transparent red marbled LP (600 copies worldwide), and a translucent forest green LP for the US.

Post-release, Crystal Lake will co-headline a European and UK tour with Miss May I in early spring 2026, joined by special guests Great American Ghost and Diesect. The 21-date run kicks off on February 24, 2026, in Utrecht, Netherlands, at Tivoli Pandora, and wraps on March 22, 2026, in Birmingham, UK, at O2 Academy2, covering countries like Germany, France, Spain, and Portugal.
