Del Amitri announce Past to Present UK tour for 2026

Scottish band Del Amitri has revealed plans for a Past to Present UK tour in 2026, marking 40 years of their music career. The tour will cover their entire discography with performances across major venues, including a finale in Glasgow. Tickets go on sale at the end of February.

Del Amitri, originating from Glasgow's indie scene in the late 1980s, built a reputation for sharp lyrics and melodic songs. Their 1989 album Waking Hours brought mainstream success with the hit Nothing Ever Happens, followed by tracks like Always The Last To Know and the US Top 10 single Roll To Me. Over six studio albums from 1985 to 2002, the band sold more than six million records globally.

After a long break, founding members Justin Currie and Iain Harvie reunited for live shows and released Fatal Mistakes in 2021, their first album in 18 years on Cooking Vinyl. This led to tours in the UK, Europe, Australia, and North America.

The 2026 tour, titled Past to Present, will feature a setlist spanning their early work, chart hits, later favorites, and recent material. Key dates include November 16 at York Barbican, November 22 at London's Roundhouse, November 27 at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall, and a Scottish leg ending December 8 at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom. Other stops cover Sheffield, Nottingham, Cambridge, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Bath, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Perth, Aberdeen, and Dundee.

General ticket sales begin February 27 at 9:30 a.m. through sites like gigsandtours.com, ticketmaster.co.uk, and delamitri.info. The tour underscores the band's enduring appeal as a live act after four decades.
