Disney has allocated more than four million dollars toward the development of its Tropical Americas area at Animal Kingdom. The investment covers initial demolition, electrical work, and construction for key features including new rides and play areas. The project forms part of a much larger long-term plan for the Orlando resort.
Records indicate that demolition costs reached 143000 dollars while electrical installations added about 1.1 million dollars. Building structures and a new playground contributed roughly three million dollars bringing the current total to 4.25 million dollars. These figures represent only a portion of the full scope for the new land which will feature Pueblo Esperanza along with an Indiana Jones attraction an Encanto ride and a themed carousel.
