Disney schedules D23 Day events at Disneyland Resort

Disney will mark D23 Day on August 13 at the Disneyland Resort with free Mickey Mouse ears, special cavalcades, and limited-edition treats.

The day kicks off before the main D23 Expo opens on August 14 at the Honda Center. Guests can collect a free pair of Mickey Mouse ears on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

A Disney Legends Cavalcade featuring 23 characters will parade down Main Street, U.S.A. at 1:30 PM. Rare appearances by Merlin from The Sword in the Stone and the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio are also planned in Fantasyland.

Entertainment includes Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Bash from 2 PM to 6 PM and a Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks Dance Party from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM at Tomorrowland Terrace. The Hatbox Ghost Popcorn Bucket goes on sale that day, along with exclusive cakes, cheesecakes, and drinks.

All visitors with valid admission on August 13, 2026, will receive unlimited digital PhotoPass downloads from designated locations across the resort.
