Egypt’s Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat met with Nexus Analytica to advance regulatory changes in the electricity sector.

The talks centered on creating rules and mechanisms under Egypt’s Electricity Law to manage generation, transmission and distribution. The goal is greater transparency, competition and efficiency in the market. Esmat highlighted the government’s restructuring programme aimed at better service quality, operational performance and financial stability.
