The board today carried out a lottery draw by lot on voice ballot papers to determine the order for registered candidates and political parties. Aitenew Debebe, the board's legal advisor, stated that 'the system of drawing names, logos, and images of candidates and parties by voice ensures the election process is transparent, fair, and trustworthy.' The voice ballot paper includes the names, logos, and images of candidates and parties, and is prepared in Braille for visually impaired voters. The event was attended by Melat Werqu Haylu, the board's spokesperson, along with representatives from various political parties, who received reports on the board's accomplishments to date.
