Ellington Properties has partnered with the United Arab Emirates Padel Association to become the title sponsor of the UAE Padel Tour 2026. This collaboration introduces padel as a new focus for the Ellington Sports Foundation, aiming to promote active lifestyles and community engagement. The tour will feature 35 tournaments across the UAE, supporting players at all levels.

Ellington Properties, a Dubai-based real estate developer known for its design-led approach, has announced a collaboration with the United Arab Emirates Padel Association (UAEPA), the governing body for padel in the country. Under the agreement, Ellington becomes the title sponsor for the UAE Padel Tour 2026, a series of 35 tournaments hosted at various venues nationwide.

This partnership integrates padel into the Ellington Sports Foundation, which emphasizes wellbeing and inclusive community initiatives. The move aligns with Ellington's commitment to extending its human-centered values beyond property development, fostering active living in the communities it serves. Padel, one of the UAE's fastest-growing sports, fits this ethos, reflecting a shift toward social and lifestyle-oriented activities.

The tour is designed to provide a platform for competition and development, nurturing talent from grassroots to elite levels. It will contribute to the structured expansion of padel's ecosystem in the UAE.

Marwan Bin Essa, Head of Finance and Partnerships at UAEPA, stated, “This partnership with Ellington Properties is an important milestone for the continued development of padel in the UAE. Having a design-led, community-focused brand as the title sponsor of the UAE Padel Tour 2026 reinforces our shared commitment to quality, sustainability, and long-term growth of the sport. Through this collaboration, we aim to elevate the tournament experience, expand participation across all levels, and further strengthen the padel ecosystem nationwide.”

Joseph Thomas, Co-Founder of Ellington Properties, added, “What excites us about padel is not just its popularity today, but its potential to become part of the UAE’s long-term sporting culture. Through the Ellington Sports Foundation, we want to help create pathways that encourage participation from an early age and support the sport’s evolution in a structured, sustainable way. This partnership is about investing in momentum that lasts while contributing to ecosystems that bring long-term value to people and communities.”

Ellington already incorporates padel into its residential offerings, with a dedicated court at its Ellington Beach House project. By partnering with national sports organizations, the company positions itself as a supporter of inclusivity and long-term community enrichment.
