Enola Holmes 3 debuts on Netflix with new director

Millie Bobby Brown returns as the title character in Enola Holmes 3, the latest Netflix installment in the mystery franchise. The film, directed by Philip Barantini, picks up with Enola on the verge of marriage before a family crisis intervenes.

The story opens in Malta where Enola prepares to wed Lord Tewkesbury. The ceremony is interrupted when her brother Sherlock is abducted along with her future mother-in-law.

Barantini takes over directing duties from Harry Bradbeer and maintains the series' fast pace with visual effects and editing. The film features returning cast members Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Louis Partridge as Lord Tewkesbury, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria, and Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson.

Sharon Duncan-Brewster appears as Moriarty in action sequences that highlight both physical and emotional stakes. The movie runs 105 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating.

It was reviewed at the Paris Theater in New York City on June 25, 2026.
