Erik Grönwall to release solo album Bad Bones in May

Former frontman of Skid Row and H.E.A.T, Erik Grönwall, is set to release his solo album Bad Bones on May 22. The title track is now available with a streaming music video. The album features original material and reflects his personal story.

Erik Grönwall, known for his vocals with bands like Skid Row and H.E.A.T, as well as recent tours with Michael Schenker, has announced his debut solo album, Bad Bones, scheduled for release on May 22. The project marks a shift toward original songwriting, described as raw, honest, and personal.

The title track, "Bad Bones," premiered with a music video, setting the album's tone of fearlessness and self-ownership. Grönwall shared, "I’ve had the honor of fronting some great bands, but now it’s time to tell my own story. ‘Bad Bones’ is about owning who you are and not apologizing for it. I’ve always walked my own path, no matter what people thought. I’ve never followed the norm, and I’m not about to start now – this is how I’m built."

Complementing his stage career, Grönwall maintains a popular YouTube channel with millions of views, showcasing his interpretations and authenticity. The single "Bad Bones" is available on major digital platforms, with additional music and live dates planned for 2026.

Upcoming performances include two sold-out shows on May 25 and 26 at Cirkus in Stockholm, Sweden. Further appearances feature the Lisää Löylyä Festival in Vaasa, Finland, on June 13, and several Swedish festivals in July and August, such as Latitud 57 in Oskarshamn and Time To Rock in Knislinge.
