Esports nations cup reveals chess qualification pathway

The Esports Foundation has detailed how chess players can qualify for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup. The event will feature national representatives competing in Riyadh.

The Esports Nations Cup will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2 to 29. It will include players from 16 esports titles representing their countries and territories. Organizers expect the qualification program to involve more than 100,000 players from over 150 countries and territories throughout 2026.
