Ethiopia UAE partnership key for regional peace and stability

UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan said the partnership between Ethiopia and the UAE is crucial for ensuring peace and stability in the region.

Relations between the two countries have grown over the past ten years. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's visit to the UAE in March further strengthened ties.

Cooperation focuses on trade, agriculture, infrastructure and energy sectors. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to regional stabilization and joint development.

The UAE maintains a long-term vision for sustainable development in Africa. During the G20 summit it provided 1 billion dollars to support technology projects and economic and social development across the continent.
