The process is now accelerating toward presenting shortlisted candidates to deliberation bodies, specifying nominees for the national election assembly, and training coordinators.
The national election assembly will convene to deliberate issues, present them to stakeholders, monitor implementation, and ensure benefits for the public, he explained.
Separately, the candidate selection and delegate meeting for Tigray region, held in Addis Ababa, was conducted appropriately with commendable participant discipline, according to the commissioner.
