The 21st edition of Fana Lamrot began with 16 selected shining stars from over 700 pre-qualifiers. The competition will continue live from next Sunday in its third week. A 1 million birr prize awaits the four finalists.
In Addis Ababa on Hidar 4, 2018 (EFM C), the 21st edition of Fana Lamrot, organized by Fana Media Corporation, started with 16 selected contestants. These shining stars were chosen from over 700 pre-qualifiers and will compete over 13 weeks.
In the third week, seven semifinalists will perform with Kokab Band in two rounds. Contestants will cast votes for themselves, audiences, and judges' music choice bracelets. Music experts and judges select contestants based on short text message voices.
A 1 million birr prize is prepared for the four finalists. This edition also features the 6th Fana Lamrot champions league winner. Viewers can join the jury by sending contestant codes to 8222 via short text and providing their voice.
The 21st edition will continue live from next Sunday at 6:00 on Fana TV, Fana+, Fana Facebook, YouTube, Telegram, and www.fanamc.com.
