Farrah Fawcett made her acting debut in 1969 with a minor guest role on the Andy Griffith Show spin-off Mayberry R.F.D. The appearance came years before her breakthrough as Jill Munroe on Charlie's Angels.
Fawcett, then 22, appeared in the Season 2 episode titled Millie, the Model. She played Showgirl #1 in a party scene where the character fixes a tie and offers an hors d'oeuvre to farmer Sam Jones. The series, which ran from 1968 to 1971 across three seasons and 78 episodes, continued the small-town setting of Mayberry after the original show ended. Regular cast members included Ken Berry as Sam Jones and returning actors such as George Lindsey and Frances Bavier. Fawcett received only a brief credit for the part, which featured little dialogue. She went on to guest roles on other series including The Partridge Family and I Dream of Jeannie before landing her iconic Charlie's Angels part in 1976.
