FIFA has teamed up with DAZN to relaunch its FIFA+ streaming service next year as the 'Global Home of Football,' offering free access to live matches, highlights, and exclusive content from over 100 men's and women's national teams and club leagues. The platform will include a multilingual multichannel news service but will not feature live coverage of the 2026 World Cup. This move builds on their successful collaboration during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which drew a global audience of 2.7 billion.

The relaunch of FIFA+, originally launched in 2022, is set for 2026, coinciding with the FIFA World Cup hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. The new platform will provide personalized experiences for fans worldwide, combining live and on-demand top-tier football content, highlights, and behind-the-scenes access. It will also offer hourly news capsules, a weekly analysis show, and on-demand documentaries, interviews, and series in multiple languages.

FIFA+ on DAZN will be available for free globally, with an option for premium content. The service leverages DAZN's technological expertise, global reach, and extensive rights portfolio, including leagues such as the UEFA Champions League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Premier League. While it enhances access to the sport, live World Cup matches remain sub-licensed to regional broadcasters.

Partnership Background

FIFA and DAZN first collaborated on the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in the United States, which Mattias Grafström, FIFA Secretary General, described as record-breaking. "In a short period of time, the partnership between FIFA and DAZN has proven to be a remarkably successful one, as witnessed through the record-breaking FIFA Club World Cup tournament in the United States earlier this year," Grafström said. DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev added, "Our new global football platform marks a significant milestone in our successful partnership with FIFA, and is an exceptional addition to DAZN’s extensive portfolio of premium football content. From next year, millions of fans around the world will be able to enjoy even more top-tier football content for free on FIFA+ on DAZN."

This initiative aims to serve all segments of the football community, providing broader access to the game ahead of the World Cup.
