Fifteen Kenyans listed among worst illegal aliens by US government

At least 15 Kenyans have been listed among the 'worst of the worst' illegal aliens with serious criminal convictions by the US Department of Homeland Security. The list displays identities of criminal illegal immigrants arrested since President Donald Trump took office. Many are linked to offenses such as assault and robbery.

The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) launched a webpage on Monday, December 8, displaying details of criminal illegal immigrants with severe records. The site allows searches for hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants arrested across all 50 US states. Over 10,000 such arrests are featured, with the list set for frequent updates.

Among those listed are 15 Kenyans, most accused of assault offenses. Other charges against them include aggravated assault with a weapon, possession of stolen property, threats of terroristic offenses, simple assault, money laundering, and check forgery. They also face allegations of driving under the influence, domestic violence, robbery, resisting arrest to avoid prosecution, fraud, kidnapping a minor, violating a court order, and receiving stolen property.

This development occurs amid a stringent crackdown on undocumented individuals under the Trump administration. The US government introduced a self-deportation app in March and has ramped up immigration and customs enforcement. On November 28, Trump announced plans for a broad freeze on immigration from third-world countries, particularly several African nations.

DHS describes the 'worst of the worst' as criminal illegal aliens with serious convictions, encompassing homicide, assault, rape, drug trafficking, child molestation, and armed robbery.

The Department of Homeland Security has introduced a new ‘Worst of the Worst’ website that will initially highlight 10,000 illegal immigrants with serious criminal records who were arrested during President Trump’s current deportation campaign. DHS officials say the platform is intended to showcase Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s focus on criminal offenders and to provide the public with a more transparent view of recent enforcement actions.

The Trump administration has intensified its mass deportation efforts, arresting over 595,000 illegal immigrants and deporting around 605,000 since Inauguration Day. These operations have brought attention to several high-profile cases involving serious crimes by undocumented individuals. Officials describe these as examples of the 'worst of the worst' among those in the country illegally.

Seven Kenyans employed in South Africa through a US program have been arrested for lacking proper documentation and now face deportation. They were detained after entering the country on tourist visas and working at a center processing US visa applications. The operation took place in Johannesburg and involved South Africa's Department of Home Affairs.

More than 1.6 million immigrants have lost their legal status in the United States during the first 11 months of President Trump's second term. This figure, tracked by immigration advocates, represents the largest effort to revoke deportation protections for those who entered through legal pathways. The administration has ended multiple programs, including temporary protected status for several countries and the CBP One app.

The case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was erroneously deported to El Salvador despite a court order, has spotlighted growing errors in U.S. immigration removals. Lawyers report a surge in similar wrongful deportations as the administration pursues aggressive targets. Advocates attribute the mistakes to the haste of operations, raising concerns over legal protections for immigrants.

President Donald Trump has acknowledged that his administration's mass deportation efforts may require a gentler approach following the fatal shootings of two anti-ICE activists in Minneapolis. The incidents, involving federal immigration agents killing Renee Good and Alex Pretti, prompted a leadership change and a reduction in agent presence in the area. Officials are now emphasizing targeted arrests amid heightened protests and calls for reform.
