Moms på fødevarer falder til 6 % den 1. april

Sveriges moms på fødevarer falder fra 12 % til 6 % den 1. april. Butikker som Ica Maxi i Bromma er i fuld gang med at opdatere prisskilte på tusindvis af varer forud for påskehandlen. Ejer Gustav Johansson advarer om potentielt kunderyk.

Butikker over hele Sverige arbejder intensivt på at justere priserne forud for momsreduktionen på fødevarer. Hos Ica Maxi i Bromma har ejer Gustav Johansson og personalet håndteret over 20.000 varer, der skulle have nye prisskilte, samtidig med at de gør klar til påskehandlen.

Johansson bemærker, at salget indtil videre har været stabilt med en god omsætning mandag og tirsdag. "Vi må se, hvordan det går. Vi risikerer at blive fuldstændig løbet over ende," siger han om risikoen for et kunderyk onsdag.

For at undgå kaos den 1. april begyndte mange butikker prisjusteringerne tidligere på ugen. Kunder kan tjekke momsreduktionen på kvitteringerne, og nogle butikker markerer det med ulige øre-afrundinger. "Ingen af os ville turde eller ønske at snyde," understreger Johansson.

Uafhængige tjenester som Matpriskollen overvåger priserne i deltagende butikker for at sikre, at reduktionen når ud til forbrugerne.
