Fourteen countries made up 68.8 percent of Egypt's foreign trade in the first half of fiscal year 2025/26, according to a new Central Bank of Egypt report.
The countries recorded combined trade of 50.616 billion dollars between July and December 2025. Imports reached 36.147 billion dollars while exports stood at 14.469 billion dollars.
Egypt's overall foreign trade during the period totaled 73.54 billion dollars. This figure included 52.647 billion dollars in imports and 20.893 billion dollars in exports.
The United States led as Egypt's top trading partner with 8.709 billion dollars in bilateral trade. The United Arab Emirates followed at 7.028 billion dollars and China ranked third at 6.845 billion dollars.
Other major partners included Saudi Arabia, Germany, Italy, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, India, Russia, France, and Spain.
