Gaerea releases music video for 'Nomad' from upcoming album

The Portuguese post-black metal band Gaerea has unveiled a new music video for their single 'Nomad'. The track is featured on their forthcoming album 'Loss', set for release in March. The video accompanies a song that explores themes of alienation and self-punishment.

Gaerea, a post-black metal collective from Portugal, announced the release of their new music video for the single 'Nomad' on February 18, 2026. This frostbitten track serves as a preview from their upcoming album 'Loss', scheduled to arrive on March 20 via Century Media Records.

The band provided insight into the song's meaning, stating: “the Nomad is the individual who goes through life at a constant moving pace just to avoid facing oneself – physically drifting, but emotionally running from guilt, self-doubt, and a fear of becoming something to despise. At its core, it’s a confession of alienation: a nomad not by choice, but by self-punishment and inner collapse.”

Pre-orders for 'Loss' are currently available through Century Media Records. The official music video for 'Nomad' can be viewed on platforms associated with Distorted Sound Magazine. This release builds on Gaerea's reputation in the post-black metal scene, with the album marking their next chapter following previous works.
