Fourteen members of the group, originating from the religious movement Hakuna founded in 2013 by priest José Pedro Manglano (known as Josepe, a former Opus Dei member), played five of their most popular songs like 'Huracán' and 'A ti te alabo', plus two carols: 'Los peces en el río' and 'Campana sobre campana'. The crowd, made up of hundreds of youths aged 15 to 17, families, nuns, and tourists, went wild for the show.

Hakuna, which went viral on TikTok in 2024 with 'Huracán' (over a million Spotify streams), organizes 15 weekly 'holy hours' in Madrid, has filled venues like Vistalegre, and performed at Catholic festivals. Invited by Pope Francis to the JMJ in Lisbon after a Vatican audience, they urged the audience to ask forgiveness from someone this Christmas, “so Madrid shines brighter than ever.” Sol Metro and commuter stations closed from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM due to crowds, with Metro lines maintaining transfers.
