Developers have announced Hidden Folks 2, a sequel to the 2017 hidden object game. The title will arrive on PC and mobile platforms in the first few months of 2027.
The announcement came during the Wholesome Direct showcase at Summer Game Fest. A trailer highlighted the return of the hand-drawn black-and-white art style along with the signature silly sounds from the original. Developers stated that the game will feature new themes and areas. It will also include improved graphics, a non-text clue system, additional mouth-made sounds, and various quality-of-life updates. The sequel will launch on Steam, itch.io, the App Store, and the Google Play Store. A Nintendo Switch version may follow if sufficient demand exists. 'True to the original, the game is all about exploring the little stories scattered throughout each landscape, without time limits or any pressure to score points,' the team said in a Steam post.
