Hotman Paris Hutapea's Instagram account lost tens of thousands of followers in two days after he was announced as Febrie Adriansyah's legal counsel.
Hotman Paris Hutapea was appointed as legal counsel for former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah on Friday 17 July 2026. The same day he accompanied his client for questioning at the Attorney General's Office building in South Jakarta.
Social Blade data shared by X account @seduhtehnya showed the decline began on Saturday 18 July. A total of 29,466 accounts unfollowed bringing the follower count to 9,810,105.
The drop continued on Sunday with another 15,898 unfollows. The follower total fell to 9,794,207. Prior to the announcement Hotman Paris's account had been gaining around 2,000 followers daily.
