I.O.I earns second win for Suddenly on Music Core

I.O.I secured a second music show trophy for their song “Suddenly” during the June 27 episode of MBC’s Music Core. The group outperformed competitors RIIZE and ILLIT to claim the win with 6,637 points.

The June 27 broadcast featured first-place candidates including RIIZE’s “Do your dance,” I.O.I’s “Suddenly,” and ILLIT’s “It’s Me.” I.O.I ultimately took the trophy.

Other artists performed on the show, among them Hearts2Hearts, EVAN, BOYNEXTDOOR, MEOVV, CLASS:y, STAYC, IZNA, and Super Junior’s Ryeowook.

The victory marks I.O.I’s second music program win for the track.
