Indenrigsminister Reul vil have vold mod sundhedspersonale registreret i statistikker

Indenrigsministeren i Nordrhein-Westfalen, Herbert Reul, opfordrer til særskilt registrering af angreb på sundhedspersonale i kriminalstatistikkerne.

Reul udtalte til Rheinische Post, at angreb på personale i lægepraksisser og på hospitaler er stigende. Aggression fra patienter og pårørende er ikke længere begrænset til paramedicinere. Han ønsker at indfange problemet i tal for at få et bedre overblik.

Lægeforeninger havde allerede i marts i forbindelse med en europæisk aktionsdag mod vold i sundhedsvæsenet opfordret til skærpet straffelovgivning. De påpegede de traumatiske konsekvenser for de berørte samt risikoen for patientsikkerheden ved afbrudt pleje.

Reul foreslog særlig træning til medarbejdere og alarmknapper til hurtig tilkaldelse af politiet som mulige tiltag. Han understregede dog, at ikke alle hospitaler kan sikres med sikkerhedssluser.
