Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie XO in May citing irreconcilable differences. The pair have since shared vlogs, podcasts and statements showing they remain close friends planning to co-parent and even have a baby.
Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, filed for divorce on May 9 in Williamson County, Tennessee. Bunnie XO, 46, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, revealed on her Dumb Blonde podcast that a Mother's Day fight prompted her to tell him to file the papers.
The singer posted a vlog titled "The Divorce Vlog" featuring a phone call with Bunnie, whom he called "Mamabear." He quipped, "Yeah, y'all thought we were gonna hate each other, didn't you? Plot twist, bitches!" Bunnie described herself as the glue of the relationship and confirmed Jelly has started dating.
Bunnie shut down rumors linking her to Chad Kroeger, saying, "I am not dating Chad Kroeger. I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It's embarrassing." She added she is not ready for another relationship and called Jelly her best friend.
An ex-husband of Bunnie's, Frankie Lombardo, told Page Six he talks to her daily and wants to reunite, claiming unfinished business.
