Jonathan Bennett will make his debut on General Hospital in Port Charles next month. He will portray Joe Fitzpatrick, as first reported by Deadline. The soap opera, a staple on ABC, continues to refresh its ensemble with new faces. Frank Valentini, the show's executive producer, expressed enthusiasm in a statement: > We're so excited to have Jonathan joining our cast. He's a tremendous talent and will be a fantastic addition to 'GH.' Bennett first gained prominence with his breakout role as Aaron Samuels in the 2004 film Mean Girls. His early television work included replacing Jesse McCartney as JR Chandler on ABC's All My Children in 2001. More recently, he has appeared on Food Network's Halloween Wars and starred in Hallmark Channel projects such as Finding Mr. Christmas and the Groomsmen film trilogy. In related casting updates, Gregg Sulkin will return as Mason Greyback for the third and final season of Disney Channel's Wizards Beyond Waverly Place sequel series.
