Kent Moran has assembled a cast for his upcoming psychological thriller The One, which he is also writing and directing.
The film stars Emily Kinney as Jackie, a successful entrepreneur who becomes involved in a dangerous relationship. Hayley McFarland, Zach Roerig and Catherine Curtin have also joined the project in lead roles.
Moran said he is thrilled to collaborate with the cast on a story that examines how the desire for connection can become distorted. Filming is currently taking place in Stamford and Greenwich, Connecticut, and will continue through late June.
The Wishing Well Pictures production is produced by Angela Ostermeier, Kent Moran and Kat Moran. Moran previously starred in films including The Challenger and Listen to Your Heart.
