KIB unveils fourth season of The Stadium equestrian event

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has announced the fourth season of its flagship sporting event, KIB | The Stadium, dedicated to equestrian sports for the third consecutive year. The event, organized by Suffix, will run from February 5 to 14 at Marina Beach, featuring show jumping competitions and introducing polo entertainment. This initiative supports Kuwait Vision 2035 by boosting tourism and community engagement.

On January 24, 2026, KIB held a press conference in Kuwait City to reveal details of the upcoming season of KIB | The Stadium. The event aligns with national goals to position Kuwait as a hub for tourism and major sporting occasions, fostering partnerships between private and government sectors.

Attendees included Marwa Marafie, KIB's Manager of Corporate Communications; Ahmed AlHuzami, CEO of Suffix; Abdulrahman Al Fuzae from the Kuwait Equestrian Federation; Abdulaziz AlNasser from United Real Estate Company; and Abdullah Shaaban from the Kuwait Olympic Committee, alongside KIB executives, partners, sponsors, and media.

The show jumping championship, now in its third year, expands with CSI3-W* (a World Cup qualifier) and CSI1 categories from February 5 to 7, followed by CSI2* and CSI1 from February 12 to 14. For the first time, polo entertainment will be introduced, building on last season's success with dressage.

Marafie commented: “The launch of the fourth season of KIB | The Stadium... offering young and emerging riders a valuable opportunity to compete alongside international champions.” She added that the event transforms Marina Beach into a premier destination, highlighting past talents like champion Yara Al-Hunaidi and rider Ali Al-Kharafi, in line with KIB's 'Bank for Life' promise.

AlHuzami stated: “KIB | The Stadium is the product of a shared vision... not just equestrian enthusiasts.” He noted the arena's international standards and global rider participation, enhancing Kuwait's regional sports profile.

New partners bolster logistics and facilities, with international riders from multiple continents joining local competitors. The expanded Village features zones, restaurants, cafes, and family programs to inspire active lifestyles and community connections.

This season reinforces KIB's role in advancing Kuwait's sports landscape through inclusive, high-quality events.
