Lego has revealed a new set inspired by the climactic battle in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The 1,003-piece kit recreates the confrontation between Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf in the game's ruined castle. It joins the Great Deku Tree set from 2024 and launches on March 1 for $130.
The latest collaboration between Lego and Nintendo focuses on a pivotal moment from the 1998 Nintendo 64 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Titled Lego The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - The Final Battle, the set builds a scene of the castle in ruins after the battle, complete with three recovery hearts scattered amid the debris.
Key features include a button mechanism that allows users to raise Ganondorf from the rubble, simulating his emergence during the fight. The set comes with minifigures of Link equipped with his Master Sword and Hylian Shield, Princess Zelda, and a translucent Navi fairy. A standout element is the large, poseable figure of Ganon, the beastly form of Ganondorf, which serves as the kit's centerpiece.
This release follows the expansive 2,500-piece Great Deku Tree set from 2024, which offered builds inspired by both Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild. Unlike recent Lego innovations like the Smart Brick demonstrated at CES, this Zelda set uses traditional bricks without interactive tech elements.
Pre-orders for the set began immediately after the announcement, with general availability set for March 1 at a price of $130. The kit targets fans of the series' first 3D adventure, providing a brick-built homage to its enduring legacy in gaming history.
