Magnus Lidén, a major backer of Linköping HC, has outlined ongoing spending on the club's roster. He confirmed financing for Linus Hultström and an upcoming top center. The combined cost is projected at five to ten million kronor.
Lidén spoke to Corren about the club's direction after recent changes. He defended the leadership and stressed that the organization has avoided financial crisis.
The team posted profits in three of the past four years, though the most recent accounts showed a deficit near four million kronor. Lidén highlighted club director Carl Stålhammar as the key figure and called for stability.
He offered to remain on the board for two additional years if the annual meeting agrees and to continue providing funds. Lidén also proposed forming an advisory sports council to support decisions without interfering in daily operations.
Lidén said his involvement stems from belief in the club and long-standing affection for LHC.
