Lio Rush captured the ROH Men's World TV Championship on Thursday in a three-way match at the Global Wars special. He defeated champion AR Fox and Action Andretti.
Rush secured the victory with a Black Thunder Bomb on Andretti. Fox was unable to break up the pin in time.
The event aired on Honor Club and MyAEW, featuring talent from ROH, AEW, CMLL and STARDOM. Rush previously competed in ROH from 2015 to 2017.
AR Fox had won the title at Global Showdown after defeating Nick Wayne in a match taped May 9. He held the championship for 33 days and made five successful defenses before the loss at the June 10 taping.
This marks Rush's first title in either ROH or AEW. He has portrayed an evolved "Blackheart" character in recent months.
