Man accused of killing woman gathering evidence against him

Vincent Galvan faces multiple charges in the death of Ricki L. White, whom authorities say he killed after learning she was compiling evidence to send him to prison.

Deputies in Roosevelt County, New Mexico, discovered White's body on May 12 inside an SUV parked on an abandoned property. The 38-year-old woman had last been seen alive on May 4 and was believed to have been shot the following morning. Investigators recovered a folder containing discovery materials related to Galvan's prior crimes at the scene.
