André Lucas da Silva Ribeiro was arrested in flagrante on Friday (20/3) suspected of murdering his 21-year-old girlfriend Raiane Maria Silva Santos in a condominium in Goiânia. He recorded a video confessing the crime and sent it to his mother. Military Police confirmed the confession at the time of arrest.
The crime took place in an apartment in a condominium in Goiânia, capital of Goiás. André Lucas da Silva Ribeiro, the suspect, killed his 21-year-old girlfriend Raiane Maria Silva Santos. Immediately after the murder, he recorded a video while pacing back and forth in the apartment. In the footage, sent to his mother, André said: “Mãe, eu não ‘tava’ aguentando mais a Raiane, infelizmente eu matei ela. Eu não ‘tava’ aguentando mais esse inferno. Eu vou me entregar pra polícia”.A friend who lived with the couple witnessed an argument at the scene, according to delegate Priscila Ribeiro. Initially, the friend thought it was a common couple disagreement. Rescue teams were called but upon arrival only confirmed the victim's death.Military Police arrested André in flagrante on Friday (20/3), when he confessed the crime again. The delegate in charge of the case is Priscila Ribeiro.
