Manchester United will travel to Finland, Norway, Sweden and Ireland for pre-season friendlies in July and August. The club has confirmed opponents including Wrexham, Rosenborg, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United are set to visit Finland for the first time since 1965 as part of their preparations for the 2026/27 season. Michael Carrick, now in his first full campaign as head coach, will lead the squad against Wrexham, Rosenborg, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. The tour includes a stop at Strawberry Arena in Solna, Sweden, for the match against Atletico Madrid. United will also play at Croke Park in Dublin, a venue with an 82,000 capacity. Director of football Jason Wilcox said the club aims to connect with fans in Scandinavia and Ireland while testing the squad against strong opposition. The 2026/27 Premier League season is scheduled to begin on the weekend of August 22.
