Merseyside police appeal to reunite saddles with rightful owners

Merseyside Police are seeking the owners of two horse saddles recovered during a property search in Wirral. The items were found after two men were arrested in connection with a burglary reported in April. Officers have released details to help return the saddles.

Police recovered an Albion saddle with red buttons and a Henri de Rivel saddle, sized 17 inches and 17.5 inches respectively. The saddles were located at an address in Wirral during a search tied to the arrests of two local men on 14 May. A 49-year-old man from Wallasey faces suspicions of fraud, handling stolen goods and possession of cannabis. A 53-year-old man from Rock Ferry is suspected of burglary and handling stolen goods. Both have been released on conditional bail as enquiries continue.
